A great example of how word could spread even without the internet back in the day.
I was going to UK when it happened. Maybe my timeline has been compressed. But it was the logo for some time. One day, my dorm room mate pointed it out to me after someone showed him. The next day, there was a story on local news about the controversy. The day after that, the logo had a new tongue.

I wish it hadn't happened until now. If they had waited until 2020 just think of all the people that would be at the capital walking around with guns, snakey flags, and "I LOVE DICK TONGUE" signs.
