Who is the one team you really want UK to beat this year?

Georgia on the road is as big as it gets. Would like mean a 10-2 +/- season. Anything else, not so much meaning.

Obviously we want to win every game but I would have to say Florida. Its time to kill that sickening streak. Hell if we lose to UL in a close one but still are bowl bound I'll be OK with it as long as we have beaten Florida in the process. Please Stoops make it happen!!
As far as the national scene and the buzz a win would create I'd have to pick Auburn. It would give give Stoops his signature win over a Top 10 team and it's a Thursday night game which means the whole country is watching.

Obviously, Florida would be huge, as would Auburn.

But here is a vote for Mississippi State. We have not beaten them since 2008 (ouch!!) and have not won an SEC game on the road since 2009 (Oh for God's sake . . . ) To be taken seriously in this league, you cannot lose seven years in a row to MSU.

UF,UL or UT you could say any of the those three every year. I guess have to pick UF right now though, after getting hosed in that one last season The three game home stretch with UF, Mizzou, Aub could be huge. I don't expect winning all three but would be ecstatic with 2/3 and then winnable road game at MSU.

QUOTE="Blue Decade, post: 2125617, member: 11720"]I want Kentucky to win every game. It puzzles me why someone would pick out 1 game and say it counts more than the others. The games that mean the most to the growth of our program are the conference games. But all of them count the same toward bowl eligibility, and that is the critical threshold for this season. So if you ask me which game is the most important, that will be our 6th win.[/QUOT\)

I want to win them all. That's right, all of them. It's time for a huge year with many upsets. Each passing and winning game puts us closer to Atlanta. We have experience, back ups waiting to take over and make it Hell for a healed starter to replace a subbed player. I couldn't be happier with the home-grown men from KY and the ever-expanding roster as well as with the special young men from the state of Ohio, Georgia, Florida and 'Bama. Most all played on the upper schools in their own states.
We have SEC talent and a few surprises for our SEC Brethren! I'm more optimistic than I've been for ever. Our coaching staff is of outstanding quality. Leading the charge In recruiting is Vince Marrow. Lifelong buddies who played Football together under Coach Stoops Father at Cardinal-Mooney HS.
The best part of being a member of the optimists Club is the positive vibes I get from attending. Win Lose or Draw I'm a UK wildcat and will be until my Father brings me home!

Tennessee from a personal standpoint but when it comes to most important, I think we need the Florida win.
