In his interview after the scrimmage Saturday, Levis said it hasn't been decided yet as both Kaiya and Deuce are still battling for the #2 spot.
Hopefully we will find out the 2nd half of the Miami game.
Although, Stoops has never shown that he likes to play the backup much except to hand the ball off.
I would have thought Deuce but, having watched the B/W game highlights, Sharon looked better with a bit more zip on the ball. Fall practices may have flipped that but that's what I noticed from the spring game.

Allen had lost his back up role, that's why he's gone. Will be surprised if Hogan isn't #2 but expect to see an "Or" with Sharon when the depth chart comes out.
If we have to play a backup, we are flat out screwed. I’ll put it that way.
......aaaannnnnnnddddddd that is why I say, if we're up 3 TDs+ in the 3rd or 4th quarter, put Levis on the bench for a few series or more and accrue some reps and sets for the #2 and #3. QBs. This develops the backups plus protects Levis from freak injuries and potential cheap shots from an opponent that is taking a whipping on TV.

Trying to convince Stoops to do that is another issue in itself.
It doesn’t matter who number two is. If Levis gets hurt we are screwedddddd.

Yeah, Hogan, Sharon, and Wade are "division two at best, possibly naia". I guess all the other programs in P5 that offered these guys are clueless?

Better decide quick, if our O line doesn't block any better than it did in scrimmage against our D Levi's will have a short season
He said that, but he seemed to suggest he knew. He asked whether the coaches had named the backup to someone off screen and then proceeded to speak well of both. But, it appeared he had an idea about who it would be.
If someone likes Allen as the backup, that person should be excited. Allen did not leave because he was not going to start. Everyone knew this year is Will’s. Allen left because he doubted he would ever start. He is now the starter for his low division school. The other QBs must be better than Allen.
.....and it could be they arrived more recently have more time to figure out their starting prospects at UK. Who knows? In the current age of transfer portal and NIL, keeping two top-shelf QBs on a roster will be difficult and rare. It may be that the best that most teams will do is P5-quality starter & borderline P5 (or G5/FCS-quality) backups.

I mean....with 3 new starters on the O line including both tackles, and all new wide recievers with several as freshmen, starting TE a redshirt freshman, starting tailback likely a transfer....myself I'm perfectly fine if all the 1st string O including Levis play every series against Miami (oh).
Worry about giving 2nd string O and whoever is backup QB snaps in week 3 & 4. Our season is gonna be defined by Florida Boys & girls.
