Which one you got?

How do you beat the boomers?

That said.. the timelines reaaaaally play nicely for the Boomers. They have Jordan in there by like half a year (who kind of strikes me more as a GenZ guy than a boomer). And further, the generation lengths aren't all the same. Boomers are 46 to 64 (18 years) but Gen X is 65 to 80 (15 years). So boomers, for some reason, have a greater net to catch players.

Ill say this about the millennials.. I think if you need to win the game, there are better players to have in there than Harden and maybe even KD. I'll take LeBron, Steph and Joker as a very very strong starting 3. And they compliment each other well. Give me like.. Chris Paul over Harden maybe keep KD.. and that's a heck of a starting 5. While I don't love Curry's overall game, that shot is a cheat code.. and there might come a point in time where many people consider He, LeBron and Joker to be top 10 players of all time.. possibly bumping guys like Bird and Hakeem out (depending on your list).

You’re just shuffling chairs on a sinking Titanic there, still isn’t close imo

I think even if we take some years away to make it even.. all 5 of those boomers still land in the same era together.. so probably.

Still if you actually make generations even, you would drastically change the makeup of the the later generations, without a doubt.

Millennials absolutely dominate this IMO.

You have them play the silent generation.

Surely there’s a computer match up to be had?

The Boomers' worst result in the Olympics was a 15 point win.
Their competition was also awful, lol. Toni Kukoc was the best international player they played against. He averaged 11 ppg for his NBA career.

That's like Dillon Brooks, lol. Imagine if the best player the 2024 Olympic team faced in the Olympics was Dillon Brooks? No SGA, Jokic, Murray, Wemby, Schroeder, just Dillon Brooks.

Arvydas Sabonis and Drazen Petrovic called. They want you to take your 8-bit fact distortion back.

Boomers. I grew up on the tail end of their careers and saw the 2nd Bulls 3 peat.
Yep, watching Jordan and then later LeBron James led me to the first time in my life I ever started to distrust the media. I knew there was literally no way an objective basketball fan was comparing those two. And I was a hardcore LeBron fan. I started to realize that even the tv lies and the talking heads have agendas. Literally zero comparison.

I felt the same way about Kobe. Im not sure if I'll catch hell for saying Kobe isn't in the GOAT convo nowadays but he always seemed way over hyped by the media, at least while I was watching (early 2000s was when I bounced) . The change in the league after the lockout was astounding and the style changed to something that I no longer enjoyed. I reckon today it's even worse.

Sabonis wasn't in the NBA yet. Didn't appear until 1995. Forgot about Petrovic. Good one. But that's still the best talent they faced. Imagine the Olympic team facing just 1, 20pt scorer in the Olympics? Canada has 3 alone on their roster.

Boomers. They have the GOAT and several near GOATs.
Sorry, the goats are in the silent generation. I am a boomer and love that team but Jordan is not the goat . Most of you probably never saw the other guys and it’s hard to compare generations but the silent group is it and Elgin Baylor is waiting to check in. No other generation had the advantage that the refs gave Jordan. Fine player and did not need help.

Everyone is saying Boomers, but the style of play of everyone on that team is outdated. Millennials would win because they have guys that can light it up from 3. You’d be trading Steph 3s with Jordan 2s. Jokic would also be a huge problem.
