Which D does Mizzou Use

They don't we can score against them but they shoot alot of 3's

Man to man, but they use a lot of switching. They aren’t matador or a completely awful defense but it isn’t a strength of theirs. They are about 10-11 spots worse than us in defensive efficiency. Their road/home splits are crazy though. We have our work cut out
They are 7th in the country in steals rate though. Don’t take care of the ball against them and you’re in for a long night. Crowd gets into it and the refs swallow their whistles.

Not great defensively, they gamble alot for the steal if we take care of the ball we'll probably be there with a chance at the end.

They play man. Switch almost all screens. Mix in a little 1-3-1 and old school full court jump switch. Just about everything they do defensively is smoke and mirrors. They gamble and try to turn you over. They will try to absolutely heat Perry or Chandler up when they are the primary handler. Also a good chance their “big” will be able to defend Amari in his point guard era (but won’t have a prayer of keeping him off the rim). If we don’t turn it over, we will get about whatever shot we want. But the turnovers have been plentiful lately, so not sure how that will go.

Worth noting, OU scorched them because Mizzou went away from switching on ball screens. They never got close to tagging rollers. It was a mess. Our empty side ball screen stuff might hurt them.

I've always believed that if the refs are allowing a rugby game, intentionally make things chippy and force them to blow their whistles.
