Where you guys aware of the latest Joker news?

People always said Joker was a true blue Wildcat. If he was willing to cheat for UF, then why was he not willing to do it for the Wildcats? Don't even try to tell me he did; I saw the players he recruited...
I'm not sure of the logic behind that, UK's main problem has been that we had the most incompetent cheaters imagineable while programs like TU and Auburn have got away with murder for decades.
Then you have hurtt at the U and at UL, maybe the biggest individual cheater in history where one program got a slap on the wrist and they were afraid to investigate the other.
Agree. Muschamp's coaching career is a product of Auburn, he is not a novice when it comes to bending and breaking rules. If cheating was going on at Florida on Muschamp's watch, Muschamp was not blind to it. Joker was turned in by Miami, a school that cheats. (Clint Hurtt's coaching career was a product of Miami.). This may have been a pissing contest between Golden's people and Muschamp. Joker fell on his sword. Muschamp is gone from Florida. Joker landed on his feet in Cleveland. I hope he does well there, and don't see a reason to dwell on his past problems.
I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer but meeting a recruit in a public place during a dead period IMO would take near the dullest knife in the drawer. That is just asking to get caught and those recruiters from other teams will drop the dime on you most every time and those news people are just waiting for a photo OP like that.

Close ... he is such a true blue, that he was TRYING to get Florida on probation. Almost got away with it too, if it wasn't for those meddling kids ... posting pics (IIRC).
While I won't bore everyone again with all the FACTS that led me to reach the same conclusion I do agree with your conclusion.
That is of course unless someone wants to argue witht those facts, probably better just to let it alone, however Stoops and Troops got here it ended up in a big positive IMO. Some great lessons were learned, and I am looking forward to seeing the wins mount up AFTER our talent AND depth STARTS to get competitive with the other programs in the SEC. A big step this year would be to win the state, (already a big win in recruiting) which would probably assure us of a valuable bowl game, which would be another big win in extra practice and recruiting.
I think it happens, the SEC is still the SEC though.
Tom Crean did the same thing with Gary Harris with no punishment, media largely ignored it too. I won't even get into all the things at UNC that coaches did and are all still employeed with the exception of Butch Davis. I wouldn't call him unhireable in college.
They had to go through last football season playing/preparing one short a position coach, as well as 1 less recruiter.
if they had not fired him you could count on them facing penalties in the future. they didnt since they self reported/self punished.
What hurtt did at the U was truly atrocious, and probably the same at UL but the NCAA just wanted to go and hide at the time. Did hurtt get run out of college coaching, probably, even though jurich and Strong were afraid to fire him at the time. I still think Strong for sure knew what was going on in the same state and recruiting the same players, and have little doubt jurich did also.
Any of you that think that Joker was guilty of a capital offense still believe in the tooth fairy.
Only people that dislike Joker, are the people that don't know him well enough to form an opinion. He is a True Blue Wildcat all day long everyday!!! It is sad to know that some of you keep on and on with the bad mouthing of our former Wildcat. His hands were tied here coaching at UK...
What complete horse$hit. Joker was given a golden opportunity and he failed. Unfortunately, Joker is just not head coaching material. He was fine as offensive coordinator but couldn't make that next jump. If he was any good as a head man, Joker should have been able to match Brooks' success level. We all know that didn't happen and the program went into a nosedive. I wish Joker well but he was a bad head coach.
