I just tried to go there out of curiosity. First, it looked like almost zero traffic. Second, it told me that to view the board for free, I had to disable my pop up blocker. No thanks. Will not return.
Where will the members of RR migrate to if/when this joint gets shut down?

Someone could always start and run a free discord channel. Not me, but someone. I nominate @Fox2monk . Discord can be organized similar a message board.
My go to for several people is smashburgers on griddle, beef hot dogs, chips, baked beans. I'm a simpleton.
that's odd... I'm pretty sure my popup blocker is disabled, and I go there. I will have to check it later and get back to you. If my popup blocker isn't enabled, I've never noticed it on the 247 board... it drives me crazy anytime I go to the On3/KSR site... it is constant and aggravating
I’ll probably visit “The Cats Domsin” board, but it is not user friendly. Otherwise, I’ll follow Cats news on X (Twitter) where one can see comnents and recent posts. There are several UK athletics sites on X.

I’d encourage you all to consider the r/wildcats subreddit. It is woefully inactive compared to the subreddits of other big SEC schools like Bama and Tennessee. Plus Reddit is a far better platform in my opinion for game day threads.
I'm not opposed to leading this charge or being apart of it.. whether its discord or reddit. I'm a tech guy so I'm sure its bit too difficult. So when that time comes ill try and see what I can do.
Id still like to think that there's plenty of reason to keep the Rivals forum network going. The other blue bloods still have some activity on their forums and I'm sure when it comes to the football schools, they have a ton too. It all depends on what On3 wants to do with it, but theres nothing that says they can't still administer those sites.
Further, this is maybe something wrong could reach out to On3 over, maybe our mods. And just sort of appeal to their good graces. Say "hey we have a very active forum, how can we go about keeping this? What would it take? Some more ads to keep revenue coming in?", stuff like that.
They would just ban us all. . I’m already banned from the Louisville board and damn proud of it.
Reason I got banned is I said their mods had no class for not banning a post that made fun of one of our players not having a dad listed on his birth certificate.
I do have a discord but I am not that versed in organizing it as I only use it for one Mobile game.
Most of you probably are not old enough to remember the old Lexington Herald board. It was much much rougher than this one . HL finally shut it down because they couldn’t fix the hateful talk.
I used to have it out with Catfanmaui and others .
Oddly my best friend on that board was a UL fan . He was the only one most people liked . We had lunch .
His advice was it’s only a message board. You’re not having anyone on the board over for Thanksgiving dinner . If it’s not fun don’t post .
He said my post were too rational and suggested I join this board . While it has degenerated it’s nowhere near as rough as the old Herald Leader board. I miss it . But life goes on.

Yes, I know what you mean. By old fashioned, I guess I mean waiting till it's reported by UK or on local TV. What else can we do to hear about signings or coaching news? I'm not going to sit around and listen to KSR every day.

No but I really mean, we can make the subreddit JUST Kentucky fans. Reddit is a cesspool of wokeness and virtual signaling.. but you can still make whatever subreddit you want, keep out whoever you want, etc.
When the internet started I went to www.uk.com. All they were talking about was British rock. I was young. I made a reference about this being some bullshit that this should be about Kentucky basketball. Needless to say I was not a popular fella after that. Let’s all go there and start this back up. 😂
We can install white boards in them all and keep this thing going that way. Be fun to watch the back and forth spats play out that way!
I'm not on Twitter so I have relied on this site for info and conversation. Hope they are able to keep it in some form resembling what we currently have since it gets so much traffic.

Ill miss the rafters becasue of the team info that I get here and for the games i would have never seen had BWO not posted them. I've been here since 2007 and to be honest I've found the board to be very unfriendly. if your not part of certain "cliques" your comments are completely ignored. If you have a different opinion then your singles out or worse you get banned. I was recently banned becasue I HATE all women sports and commented so when there was a post about the women's tourney, BAM 2 week ban. I could go on but its would fall on deaf ears. Ill miss those two things, other than that i don't care if Rupp's rafters survives or not.
