I’m happy with the work he’s doing at Arkansas. No complaints from me. Sunshine and rainbows
They are already hoping that Acuff/Thomas backcourt will save them next year . They are definitely talented but I remember those days thinking some freshmen would come in and be studs out of the gate .

I will admit it gives me pleasure to see Cal's team losing. This would have been our team at Kentucky and again some of the high level recruits are flops or playing like Freshman. The transfers don't look that special and of course minimal coaching adjustments during the game. Boogie is good but was trying to be the hero being the typical Freshman taking ill advised shots. Been there done that I had seen too much from the past with Cal's teams.
I think he quietly retired 5 or so years ago. He’s just feeding his own ego and probably trying to fleece someone to give Brad a job. Kind of shocking this is the same guy who came to UK in 2009.
Same thing as here. He has a good roster. Absolutely no reason they shouldn’t be good

I remember how excited I was when UK landed him, and he did not disappoint too much as long as he was getting all the one and done, but once all others started getting more than their share of them the fairy tale ended. He nearly let Kansas come back and win in 2012 and would not have gotten that one if the NBA lockout had not happened.
He’s only been a failure if you think they had any chance of being good with him as their coach. He hasn’t been a failure. He has completely met the expectations that any sane person would have had for him.
Cal had an elite elite run from 2007-2019. Just look at the body of work. That Cal is gone. The game changed, he didn't. He became spiteful and stubborn instead. Difference between K/Saban and most everyone else.

You see the term "lost his fastball" all the time. Sometimes it's cliche. But it truly fits with Cal. There was a time when everything he touched turned to gold. All the bullshit he used to say, well he got away with it with the fans for the most part because he achieved insane amount of winning. It wasn't just on the court either. He was doing telethons and charity work and doing revolutinary things like setting up NBA combines for his kids. He was seen as a pioneer in the spot. We had celebrities at the games and it seemed CBB revolved around KY. Even Clyde would have weathered the storm if he was winning the way Cal did and that drunk asshole didn't even sign his contract. If you ask me I think he was propped up by all the right people and the mixture and chemistry was perfect. One by one, pieces started to fall, starting with peevy. Then Cal was slowly losing he lifelines and by the time it ended, he was pretty much all alone. Coach O wanting and attempting to stay here with Pope is so telling.
There is a lot of season left but at this stage I think Cal's decline should be studied. Guys like him have a knack for having the last laugh but it's hard to see how he gets there at this point. One thing is for sure, he doesn't seem a good fit for Arky. It reminds me a lot of when Kentucky hired Bill Curry.

They have to play Florida this Saturday so I Ark. gets beat again. Could start out 0-3 in the SEC.
Think he is doing a hall of fame job
Who's going under bus if that happens?
Hope their AD is as dumb as ours and gives him a lifetime contract.
