Guys like jerry Tipton and other beat writers for the Courier journal or herald leader? Where are these guys when we actually need them. Not to put us on probation rather to demand some answers from cal? I mean if cal doesn’t land a couple guys or get answers from potential returners this week he needs to be called out to have a presser? If he doesn’t fire barbee and Justus the same thing. These guys have been in the face of all our coaches but none of them question cal. The local media is a joke. There should be an article every day about Cals stubbornness, about how he’s lost it as a recruiter, about the lack of accountability. Where are these people?

i think my biggest issue with cal is this. There is zero accountability for him. He can do what he wants, say what he wants, and there is zero recourse no accountability. The guy is a public employee the highest paid in Kentucky and one of the highest in the nation yet he is beyond question. He should address what he is doing with his staff he should address the needs he plans to fill.

yeah i say this a lot and will continue until we have some answers. He doesn’t have to address specific recruits but tell us how big the roster will be, tell us whether he is in need of 1-2-3 or however many more players.

After 9-16 and a month of basically nothing cal owes some explaining. It would go along way in settling his critics but honestly I think cal is ok with the divisions.

It so funny to me that Tipton spent the better part of Cal’s first 7 years here taking every opportunity to trash him. I remember the story with the old lady that wrote the letter to the editor complaining about something dumb when it came to Cal and Tipton interviewed her just to get a jab in at Cal. Now, when he has actual substance to get Cal on he’s quiet.

Well I will award you the dumbest post in a long time. I would give it for year, but I haven't read them all and nothing surprises me anymore. You think Journalist can call Coaches out?cal does not have to answer to you a fan, fort the decisions he makes about his staff, I mean are you going to demand that he fire who you want fired? What if we fans don't all agree. Here is a good plan. Let Cal recruit who he wants to recruit, let him hire his own staff and then if he doesn't live up to expectations there are consequences. Don't give me the 9-16, that is one season. You demanding by this weekend tells me you are spoiled and entitled.
