When is the last time you felt UK got a favorable whistle?

There seems to be 1 or 2 games a year where I feel we got away with some extra calls.. and funny enough they usually seem to be against crap teams we were going to beat anyways.

Id be curious what our foul and free throw disparity is for this year, especially when we remove those final few fouls the SEC gives to the opponent for extending the game (I know of 2 games already that the opponent had 3 extend fouls each)... it has to be a good 15 to 20 more fouls and 30 to 40 more free throws.

The game where Noel got credit for a basket that was pretty clearly after the shot clock in a close game @ Florida IIRC. We've had some well officiated games but when you say favorable I'm thinking bad calls that help us win.

And I know i say this about lot. But I follow other sports and have other teams. It's not like I feel this way towards all of them. Teams like the Jets and the Rockets.. they'll get calls and somrtimes they won't. But it generally evens out. I find NFL and NBA officiating to at least be consistent. Aside from protecting the stars (and the Chiefs/Dwift non-sense) every team seems to be officiated the same

Kentucky is different though..

Agree completely. I root for other teams in other sports and feel like they all get a pretty even whistle. Kentucky is the only team I watch that I feel consistently gets screwed by the refs. It’s obvious many of them hate UK.

That horseshit call against Oweh on that Sears 3 was awful.

And then Oglesby following Pope down the sideline? Should be HEAVILY fined for that or suspended. He was trying to instigate Pope (one of the least T'd up dudes in the game) to get a technical! That's unacceptable.

One of those Athletes in action games in 2002. 😂

But in all seriousness, that 2013 game at Ole Miss, when Nerlens had serious foul trouble, but blocked shot after shot. Some of them were dunk attempts where he met them at the rim. Those are almost always called fouls, but NN never picked up his 5th foul.

Obviously that wasn't the last game we got a favorable whistle, but it's one that sticks out in my mind.

Thing is, I don't want to win because the refs helped us, that does us no good, I would rather they just call it the same both ways.
