This exactly!!! I literally live and die UK sports! I religiously watch and attend UK football, basketball, baseball, and women’s volleyball games. That said, I’m extremely emotional and hopeful for a UK WIN but more importantly a respectable performance by our teams at all times! Yes, I say stupid shit waaayyy too much but it’s out of the passion I have for our teams! I mean no harm, I LOVE THE UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY!!! GO BIG BLUE

Don’t say stupid things about the player or coach and I won’t say “stupid things” back. We all get frustrated about the game. I was just as frustrated as anyone. I want to win as much as I want to breathe but the player bashing and coach bashing less than ten games in is inexcusable regardless of the score

It can yes. Best bet is to not respond or pay attention to the guys throwing temper tantrums. They’re really a vocal minority and they like to stir up trouble
Most of the people here are great and passionate fans. You learn to weed out the true trolls from the people whose emotions get the best of them

After you have been on here a while you will be able to figure out the real trolls who want UK to lose and bad things happen to our programs.

I don’t see going off on the people who berate the team as the same as going off on the players and coaches, as a fan. Agree to disagree. Fans are going to fan but burying the coach ten games in with a portal squad by halftime against a top ten team without your starting PG is bush league.

I don't understand the negativity towards ANY of these guys. Kriissa, Williams, Carr, Jaxson...I've seen various posters lambasting all these guys at one time or another.

If you haven't noticed.. this ain't Calipari ball...it's about the team being greater than the individual rather than 'oh he needs to be the only shooter'.

Ease back and enjoy this new style rode as far as it takes us.

If you're talking about in-game thread, you'll always get snapshots of people complaining (myself included). It's normal.

If you're talking about the threads that were started during the game as one-offs to the in-game chatter, then I might agree, but those are people that could have said the same thing in the game thread.

Keep all the redass in the game thread and be willing to eat crow if the tide turns.

During the game if a player is playing bad I’m going to criticize and if they’re playing good I’m going to give them their recognition. In the end I love our coach and love our players and will be there to cheer them on regardless!

Exactly. People who complain that fans are too critical of players act like those fans are going up to these players personally and telling them they suck, threatening in person, or whatever the case may be. There is nothing wrong with calling out a player/players on a message board for shitty play. Or even the coach. Missed shots in the flow of the offense and things like that don’t upset me and cause me to lash out TOWARDS players, it’s lack of effort, hustle that causes the frustration. I would say that’s how most fans are. All fan bases have fans that are critical of their team, that’s called being a die hard fan. The difference with Kentucky and other programs is the sheer number of Die hard fans. That’s why we get a bad name
