Hasn't always been this way.The fan base is always split unless we are winning and even then there is somebody with a problem.
Disagreements, yes. But nothing like the division created by Cal with his agenda.

100% true. The fan base is always split unless we are winning and even then there is somebody with a problem.
I think Dunn may have drank too many Red Bulls and disappeared. That was one random account.Seriously @IL Wildcat - where you at bro? Get in here and let us know you good.
And at the same time, where my boy @Wall2Boogie???
@DUNNSTILLFREENALIVE
You and me both, soooooo damn good.Damn love fried potatoes. Sliced thin. Cast iron, lot of grease. Good stuff!
Thanks hon
But do you really think I’m not insane? Lol
I miss you over here Irish! The trolls and wackos the past few years made Rafters almost unbearable. One of the big reasons I took the plunge financially to post on House of Blue. That shit is mostly weeded out over there. But I have enjoyed reading this thread. A lot of good posters in it. And it seems Pope has united the fanbase to a certain extent especially with the Sweet 16. I told a friend I haven’t felt like I did after the win Sunday in a hell of a long time. Too long.
I miss you over here Irish!
Get a room...
😁 Throw your name in there too!
Oh, I certainly believe it. I have always despised John Calipari, considered him an outstanding recruiter, but a terrible game planner and atrocious at in game adjustments. You are not going to want to hear this, and probably won't believe it until it happens to you........
John Calipari is personally responsible for the split in the UK fanbase.
Something I thought I would NEVER live to see. But here we are.
He’s fortunate he turned this year around because you could already see everything Kentucky fans were fed up with about 60% of the year. I do see some differences as Fland would have never returned to play here, and Cal would never have gotten the team back on track after that SEC start.Oh, I certainly believe it. I have always despised John Calipari, considered him an outstanding recruiter, but a terrible game planner and atrocious at in game adjustments.
I will support him because he is the coach of my team, but he better win big, and it better be quick, because if he doesn't, I think he has at most 3-4 more years before he is gone.
Another poster I haven't seen in a very long time is junkyardhawg. He was a great contributer here for years, but I think he got banned for some crazy reason and I haven't seen him since.
There was no internet but there was a group that believed Rupp needed to go because he was past his prime. They thought Joe B needed to go because he wasn't winning like Rupp. Tubby Smith... Billy Gillispie...Hasn't always been this way.
Disagreements, yes. But nothing like the division created by Cal with his agenda.
I think he’s prioritizing winning in college this year so he can say “see Kentucky made a mistake.” I believe he’s doing it for his ego and the reaction of his wife and kids shows me that IMO. Even Erin was at the game and she’s never there. She’s not even a basketball fan according to her own comments yet she was crying after that win because she knows how big it was for Cal’s image.I follow Kentucky closely and I see a few differences as well. Fland coming back and Thiero apparently playing tomorrow is not what I would have expected.
Maybe he is acting on some great advice from Payne, Coleman, Brewer and Ulis!

She wasn’t but she talks mad trash on Twitter, always getting into with people. You are probably right. I watch almost every Kentucky Basketball Game with my wife and neither of us could remember ever seeing his daughter on TV.

Which is actually great for you Arkansas fans. Cal had lost that chip on his shoulder here. Most of us hoped the loss to St Peters would have sparked that back in him, but he was too arrogant and delusional to see it.You are probably right. I watch almost every Kentucky Basketball Game with my wife and neither of us could remember ever seeing his daughter on TV.

Pitino was the closest we have been to being united. He led us out of probation and turned us back into a winner.
Six pages deep and not a real update on the missing mod.....hmmmm someone has to know something. Can anyone at least tell us uf he is ok??
That was Megan if I’m not mistaken and she lives in Boston, which is like 45 minutes from Providence so that’s why she was there. I don’t think it’s as complicated as you’re making it out to be.I think he’s prioritizing winning in college this year so he can say “see Kentucky made a mistake.” I believe he’s doing it for his ego and the reaction of his wife and kids shows me that IMO. Maybe we can lure him out of hiding if we post the right stuff...
I'm guessing he has been abducted by a 20 something Hollywood starlet looking for that IL message board moderator mystique... you know, that golf shirt (perhaps inside out) with the potato chip crumbs where the buttons used to be... it happens...

Thank you my dear. How’s you?Welcome back Irish. Missed you and your posts
Europe?he’s a broad now
Everything you wrote is true. But none of those disagreements resulted in our own fans wishing for the team to lose or for a coach to fail at UK.There was no internet but there was a group that believed Rupp needed to go because he was past his prime. Legion of Doom for Tubby and people wishing Billy Gillispie would lose so they would go ahead and fire him since he was already so bad.Everything you wrote is true. But none of those disagreements resulted in our own fans wishing for the team to lose or for a coach to fail at UK.
Until Cal........
He’s definitely euro-peeing a new wayEurope?
Nah. Cal NEVER listens to his assistant coaches......I follow Kentucky closely and I see a few differences as well. Fland coming back and Thiero apparently playing tomorrow is not what I would have expected.

Can't imagine hoping Kentucky loses a game, no matter the circumstances.Legion of Doom for Tubby and people wishing Billy Gillispie would lose so they would go ahead and fire him since he was already so bad.
UK fans don't like to lose and when a coach is consistently losing it doesn't really bring out the best in some of us. Passion is a two-edged sword. Can't imagine hoping Kentucky loses a game, no matter the circumstances.
