So many guys missing this past year. Didn't know if it was a Cal thing or a bunch died off. Lots of names I was use to past 5 yrs gone.
He is still around. He is a mod. They’re a shift-y bunch.

I'd imagine. Particularly satisfying that we won that as a road game and made the "Orange Crush" cry a lot. NCAA does a truly terrible job of ensuring that high seeds actually have the shortest travel distance in their pod.
Watched the game at a UK bar in Chicago. Not a single person there wore anything but blue. Was amazing to be a part of.
I believe he posted a good deal after the Pope hire but then trailed off. He had very thorough scouting reports of teams. He was a Cal supporter, maybe too much as some might say, and he got into it a lot with the very vocal anti-Cal crowd.

The toxicity of the board over the last few year has eroded many a great posters will. The residual of that still regurgitates itself with every loss or bad play. It's enough to discourage a decent human being from working for free as a Mod. As a Mod he probably doesn't put posters on ignore and banning in the age of vpns is a crazy game of wack-a-mole. My theory is, his good deeds ascended him into sainthood and he's not allowed to get his wings dirtied up in the muck. I could be wrong, but I bet he's living his best life.

I still think @jrpross , @kywildcat41035 , @Aike , @Fox2monk , and @JHannibalSmith would be great mods and alleviate some of the pressure the current mods have to keep up with all the riff-raff that accumulates over here.

I remember watching the 2014 Elite 8 game at the UK bar in Manhattan. My dad and I went to the east regional final at MSG and left early to run to the bar before the game started. The place was mobbed, but we lucked out tremendously and got two seats right at the bar a few minutes before the game. One of the best UK fan experiences of my life.

I had reached out to multiple Mods and Rivals leadership to become a mod and ultimately even though it was being entertained or attempted to happen it just never did.
I'm not so sure Rivals is interested in getting more mods on their forums.
I’ve certainly never asked to be a mod. Have no idea what it takes to be a mod. Kind of strange considering I’ve been here for over 2 decades. Maybe there’s a secret handshake?

Bull crap . At the end he was ready for Cal to go and he had been thrilled with our season and Mark Pope .
He always seemed like a person who tried to find the positives in life, and this place can grind you down if you want positivity lol. Hopefully he’s just staying away and enjoying this season.
I thought he was a pastor and a couple of folks knew him?
