Got caught with something.. Forgot had it in my car,, lol..What did you do?
Elite Eight and I break out my last bottle of Eagle Rare. #nojinx
I have a Weller CYPP. I would gladly drink it with another title result.Weller SR. Gotta be at least six fingers deep by now. Gonna be a long Monday back at school, but spring break was good to me!
I really like the double oaked by Woodford. I snagged a bottle of Woodford double double (yes, 2 doubles) oaked but haven’t tried it yet.Woodford Double Oaked
Blanton’s will be on tap for Sweet 16
Jefferson’s 17yo Presidential for Elite 8
Pappy 20yo for Final 4
Pappy 23yo for Championship
It’s the usual run. I only drink those last 3 for this reason - so it’s been a while! Down to half bottles.
I think you’ve related over the years some accounts of previous trouble with the law.Got caught with something.. Forgot had it in my car,, lol..
Cheers 🍻I think me any you are approaching things in a similar way tonighht.
I pretty much always keep one on hand. Usually it’s the 10 year. But I have a fresh 12 year right now.Never l had the good fortune to have Pappy
To be fair I bought the last three at Binny‘s Beverage Depot in Chicago over 12 years ago and believe it or not I gave 99 bucks for the 20 year-old Pappy and 199 for the 23 year-old. So pre overpriced hype market. LOLMy budget ended at the Blantons! Kudos to you!
I’ve got a handful of IW Harper bottles that I collected a few years ago. I wouldn’t mind letting one of them go. I probably need to thin out my collection a bit. I’m nearing 300 bottles.I pretty much always keep one on hand. Usually it’s the 10 year. But I have a fresh 12 year right now.
I’m usually able to buy a 10 year one time a year at normal price from a local liquor store. I pay around $125 for it. Only get to buy one per year.
I got the 12 year by winning the Kroger lottery. I paid $140 for it.
As for taste, I like the IW Harper 15 year about as well as any Pappy’s.
But it’s just about as hard to find as Pappy’s now.
The best sip of bourbon I’ve ever had though is Pappy’s 15 year.
A friend bought me a shot at the Red Phone Booth in Nashville during the SEC a couple years ago.
They served it over a smoked ice cube with a lemon twist.
Really, really good!👍
Woodford double oaked is actually one of my all-time favorites. I try to keep it on hand and grab it whenever I see it. I’d love to try a double double.I have a Weller CYPP. I would gladly drink it with another title result.

Just couple times in 50 years..I think you’ve related over the years some accounts of previous trouble with the law.
Makers Mark Heart Release. So damn good.I’m but a humble civil servant, but I broke out the Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel for tonight. What say you?
I do have Pappy 15 year, but have not opened it. That is the bottle I open on the day I retire, which is still a ways off.I pretty much always keep one on hand. Usually it’s the 10 year. But I have a fresh 12 year right now.

OK, add on an Elijah Craig 18 yr.I think I had 3-4 generous pours of EH Taylor Small Batch during the game. Postgame, had Bluegrass Distillers Elkwood Reserve 15 yr, Stagg, Bookers, Knob Creek 18, maybe one more that I can't remember right now.
Love Rare BreedTwo totally awesome selections!!! Rare Breed totally drinks like a high end premium bourbon at a reasonable price!
