If he plays, we cannot let Carl Lawson pull a Noah Spence. We let 1 guy against EKU completely dictate what we did and single handedly shut out run and passing game down.
Shannon Dawson can't be reactive, he has to be proactive. We have to exploit Auburn's weaknesses and our game plan needs to be tailored to those weaknesses. In stead of going with 3 guys in the backfield to protect, throw a quick slant right to the space vacated by an OLB or DE. Move the pocket. Utilize mis-direction, be creative with Boom... line him up put wide, in the slot, and as a TB....even motion him out of the backfield to the slot. We have to be the aggressor.
I think if we can score early, force a punt and go up 2 scores it will make auburn resort to doing what they aren't good at- Throwing the ball. That would then enable us to tee off...again, be the aggressor.
