If I only have money to buy football season tickets or contribute to nil ? Which helps the program more ?

Remember, you can give as much or as little as you want to the collective. So it is never an either/or decision. Give $25 to the collective if that is what you can afford. Every little bit helps, and it also gives us a sense of participation.

In answer to your question, a ticket gives you a seat in the stadium and an opportunity to purchase stadium concessions. A donation to the collective helps Stoops recruit. Each fan can decide for him or herself which is more helpful. But IMO, people who complain about Stoops' recruiting kind of take upon themselves a moral obligation to give something to the collective.

I would say that more people will be lining up to purchase a ticket than those lining up to donate to the NIL. Soooo, I'd say donate to the NIL. Then buy some individual tickets when able.

NIL would help the players, season tickets would help the athletic department. You also have to consider what you get in return.
It is also worth considering that the games are on TV, stream, and radio. I prefer going to the stadium and sharing in the game experience. But I think most of us agree, the new collective must succeed or else there will be consequences for our roster.

Buy seasons tickets it’s not even close. Your donation is going to make no difference on our W/L record and you’re going to have nothing to show for it in return. Honestly if you have money for just one, you’d be a sucker to donate to NIL. It’s probably a sucker thing to do if you have money for both anyway

It depends on each individual. Personally, I prefer to stay home and watch the games on TV. So for me, my money would be better invested in NIL. But for those who love going to the games and being in that atmosphere, then obviously season tickets would probably be the best investment. Either way, we are contributing money to the program, so as long as we do one or the other, I don't think we have anything to feel bad about.

This.

If you only buy season tickets but don't contribute to NIL, you are still a huge supporter because 1) you are physically showing your support at game 2) You are paying a seat license for those tickets and that money helps fund the entire athletic dept. in many varied ways

Tough decision. It will probably be a different choice for everyone.

Which helps the program more ?

Athletic program? Season tix
Football program? NIL maybe

What makes it such a hard choice is that you can help either way, but the only way you'll get to enjoy it in person is season tix. If you do NIL, someone else will get to enjoy the benefits in person while you're sitting at home. It's not an easy choice

I would feel like a sucker if I paid into NIL and a non-injured NIL receiving player opted out of a game or games late in the season or post season.

If you enter into it not caring how your money is spent or whether they play at UK, you shouldn't feel foolish.

I buy 6 season tickets + road game tickets + expenses to support the "program". I'm doing my share . Those of you who sit at home to watch games on TV should be the ones contributing to nil. That way everybody contributes.
