Remember, you can give as much or as little as you want to the collective. So it is never an either/or decision. Give $25 to the collective if that is what you can afford. Every little bit helps, and it also gives us a sense of participation. If I only have money to buy football season tickets or contribute to nil ? Which helps the program more ?
It is also worth considering that the games are on TV, stream, and radio. I prefer going to the stadium and sharing in the game experience. But I think most of us agree, the new collective must succeed or else there will be consequences for our roster.NIL would help the players, season tickets would help the athletic department. You also have to consider what you get in return.
Buy seasons tickets it’s not even close. Your donation is going to make no difference on our W/L record and you’re going to have nothing to show for it in return. Honestly if you have money for just one, you’d be a sucker to donate to NIL. It’s probably a sucker thing to do if you have money for both anywayIf I only have money to buy football season tickets or contribute to nil ? Which helps the program more ?
This.It depends on each individual. Personally, I prefer to stay home and watch the games on TV. So for me, my money would be better invested in NIL. But for those who love going to the games and being in that atmosphere, then obviously season tickets would probably be the best investment. Either way, we are contributing money to the program, so as long as we do one or the other, I don't think we have anything to feel bad about.
