What recruit over the last 7 or 8 years that we had stolen from us by a dirty program, would have helped us the most?

Would it have been Deandre Ayton, Javonte Smart, James Wiseman, Marvin Bagley, Zion Williamson, ect..... At one time UK was the strong leader for each of the 5 players I listed until the cheating started. The player I believe that would have helped us most would have been Zion Williamson. Add him to our 2018-19 team that went 30-7 & lost in overtime to Auburn in the Elite 8. There's no doubt with Williamson we would have been in the Final Four & there's little doubt in my mind that we win the national championship...... The Mike Krzyzewski real estate company costed Kentucky & Zion Williamson a national championship.

I'm not sure we were ever the "strong leader" for most of those guys. But if you're just asking which bought and paid for recruit would have helped us the most, Zion was the best player of the last decade who didn't play for us already, so he's a fairly easy answer.

There are a few though. Even a guy like Mo Bamba could have been a difference-maker for us.

I’m going to say if Wiseman had came to UK we would have been #1 going into Covid. He would have dominated with are guards.

James Wiseman told a friend of mine who coached with his first cousin that he would have played for Cal if not for other circumstances. I know, cousins brother twice removed yada. But it is what it is. I know a lot of these guys down here.

I think that’s why Cal stayed on him so long, but he should have known. I knew where wiseman was going 3 months before he announced. That’s why I’m convinced Cal recruits not only to secure a commitment but a relationship. No way I know, friends of mine know, elite coaches know, but Cal doesn’t know. Or maybe he doesn’t and needs to hire me for coordination of Memphis recruits.

Zion Williamson or Mo Bamba. Pick either one and UK is at least in the Final Four probably.

We really don’t need Memphis guys and their posse. And I think Cal thought his relationship with Wiseman would win out, but like you said he is oblivious sometimes and it costs us recruits sometimes.

uh, Zion was very much a UK lean
No he wasn’t. He was widely considered a Clemson lean due to their ties with his step father and the thought was that he wanted to be close where his family could go to his games.

Shawn Kemp, and he was ran off my Coach Sutton, who cares he stole Sean’s chains and pawned them in Lexington. He would have been physically dominant and a weekly highlight reel of dunks. Look we paid $2K to Mills, what’s a couple hundreds to Kemp thru gold chains?

Partially correct...Duke really was out of nowhere at the later stages of recruitment... Many had UK and Clemson as leaders, then as it got closer and after his official to Duke, then it started shifting to Duke.

I mean, Zion was obviously for sale. We know the offer Kansas had on the table. We know his ties to Clemson. We were a lot closer to last than first in that decision.

We had Wiseman locked up to the same level as MKG and Towns, until the Penny situation.

beyond that, we had a run of terrible insiders giving terrible info. Justus did a good job getting there earlier and building relationships, but the guy apparently had zero clue what was really happening behind the scenes and even less ability to close on recruitments that got sketchy. He seemed to think he had them, told the media as much, and there you go.
