What other (if any?) college bball/football teams do you "root for?"

UK basketball >>>>>>> everything else by a large margin .
UK football >> other football programs (fandom )
I guess I sometimes pull for Bama in football , Clemson is ok , the Kentucky schools , Texas AM, TCU
(Meaning if I'm watching football on Saturday and cats aren't playing or game is over - I'll watch / try to watch and pull for these teams )

Basketball - ehhh... other Kentucky teams (sans UL) some sec teams ... that's about it.

DETEST Ohio state football and urban "I'm afraid of Saban " Meyer .

Also, detest UL football (goes without saying )

Maryland. Was born in Baltimore and lived there until I was 8. My first memories of college sports and not Kentucky. That being said, it's a Grand Canyon sized gap between number 1 and number 2.

It is hard to like anyone in the SEC because none of them pull for us come NCAAT time.If I had to pick one it would be UGA

I'm a SEC fan and root for our teams against out of conference opponents, except for Vandy. I'm a Racer fan, too, graduated at Murray. Graduate degree from UK, so UK hoops is big time, hate to miss a game, love Tom and Mike on radio.

Alabama in football. Follow Murray State in basketball. And it goes without saying, anyone playing the Cardinals, TarHeels ,Dukies,Hoosiers,or Jayhawks. That just about covers it.

I only root for Kentucky! However, there are several teams I root against!

I went to WKU so I'll cheer for the Tops, just nowhere remotely close to the level in which I cheer for UK. Even when Western and UK have played in basketball or football I still cheer for Kentucky. There's just more at stake for the Cats. I follow Morehead State too because my parents and my brother all went to school there. That's pretty much it.

Kentucky basketball first and foremost. Kentucky football. Alabama football and SEC schools in general. WKU in football because my cousin is currently playing there. Was hoping he would choose UK but he ended up at Western.

I'll root for Alabama football but I would never ever even consider wearing a piece of Alabama clothing or anything like that. I just respect them as the equivalent of Uk basketball and it's cool that the best football team and basketball teams in history come from the same conference.

I am a pretty big Oregon football and basketball fan as I worked at the University of Oregon for 8 years.

I also have a rooting interest for my alma maters (Bowling Green and Ball State) and other colleges I have worked at (GW, Penn, Loyola MD), but nowhere close to UK and Oregon.

Kentucky by an immeasurable margin but I do pull for Oregon State football (yeah, I know) as I had season football tickets for OSU when I lived and worked out in Oregon. I also pull for Bama football as I respect their history and tradition. Not really a fan of other basketball programs but will pull for some teams over others as I watch games on TV. More that I root against certain schools such as Duke, UL, UNC, IU, you get the picture.

I grew up on UK, but moved south in 10th grade and graduated from USC, so I'm also loyal to the Gamecocks to a degree (no pun intended, and actually it's 2 degrees), but I still pull for Kentucky when they go head-to-head in basketball and the Gamecocks when it's football. Weird, I know.

The U for football. Pure bandwagon reasons that started in junior high.

Everyone is the enemy in basketball. No exceptions. I have a rooting interest in every game, but only because there is some reason I would want one to defeat the other. Either for sadistic reasons or those that would benefit UK. Example: UNC playing Duke in Cameron. Pull for UNC to see the sad faces of Duke fans and players. Louisville is the only tough one. It's hard to root for them in any way.

I'm a Duke Fan, and Duke fan only in Basketball and Football.

I am a huge College Basketball fan and watch tons of games and root (temporarily) tams for different reasons. But, there is no other team for which I root regularly.

I loved Davidson when they made their run with Seth Curry, I enjoy watching UK and other top teams. The only team I pull against (unless someone else's loss will help Duke) is UNC.
