Florida caught Auburn when they had a bit of a down shooting night, but Florida won the game because they had a general at PG who was a mean-ass dog. And it had bigs that when they couldn't get a rebound they would crash the board and tip it out for a second chance three. Effort play after effort play. The arena was mean and nasty and loud and Florida played tougher than the crowd.

I guess I'm saying toughness and effort wins.

They are beatable, they have pulled out a couple of close games they should have lost. I don’t know if they are the best team in the league. Any given game you could lose if you are not prepared.

Well I like that Amari is coming around into much more of a beast mode than he was in all of January. And Butler is back. And Garrison - if he can keep his ego after a big play in check - is growing right before our eyes. And then Carr seems to be overcoming that back (he was definitely coming around yesterday on a few plays).

But most importantly if we can bring the defensive energy we had yesterday, I think we could get out of there with a win.

Auburn may have benefited from their somewhat weaker early SEC schedule. I think they now hit the meat of it in the end of February and could be challenged to keep that inflated record going.

Gator fan here. Kentucky can beat Auburn and Auburn can beat Kentucky. While Kentucky’s W-L record isn’t as good as the teams at the top of the SEC, it’s largely due to inconsistency rather than ability. If UK comes out at their best, they can take down AU. To me, UK at their ceiling is as good as UT, Bama, AU and UF but they just are more susceptible to lapses than the others this year.

True but mostly injuries. When you brought in Butler to start at pg and Kerr to back him up and lose both meanwhile some games your 7 footer is leading you in assist you're in trouble. Jrob is far from a starting pg.
