everyone is entitled to their opinion even if it differs from yours. Last nights loss leaves a somewhat sour taste. Losing is one thing…. Not being ready, not showing up for the big moment and no adjustments is another.

He gets an A from me. I think at the beginning of the season, given our roster, if you told anyone what our record would be, the major wins we would have, and that we would make it to the Sweet 16, absolutely everyone here would say that was beyond their expectations.

The *only* reason anyone is disappointed at all is due to the early season success that we simply could not maintain once injuries starting piling up. That isn’t on Pope. He gets an A. Had we been injury free I bet it would have been an A+.

Thought he did a lot of great things and showed a lot of promise for a strong future.

Only thing preventing the A grade for me is the predetermined substitution NBA approach when a CBB game is 8 minutes shorter, and Half the season length. Nitpicky? Sure. But in evaluating a coach in the season that's the lone area I found frustrating to watch, especially when a player was going well.

Looking forward to seeing him build next year's team ASAP and excited to watch what they do. Brought back the fun to watch the team play that's for certain. Was nice to watch and just enjoy the game and see the fans have fun again too. On the right track!

I think coaches get a little too lost in the analytics at times. Over the course of the season managing minutes in a certain way may play out. That doesn’t mean you can’t make adjustments in game. It’s a lot of science, but a good bit of art too.

It’s kind of like leaving a guy wide open because he’s a 28% three point shooter. That’s a great strategy across 31 games. But if that guy gets hot one game in the tournament, your season is over.

Coach Pope, depending on the game, had effort hovering in the 90s on a scale of 1-100.

You just don't get hurt most of the time, if you aren't giving it your all.

So Coach Pope deserves the grade A.

Im not sure how many coaches could do what he did this year in a tough sec conf.

How about A+? He did more with less than anyone in our fanbase could realistically have hoped. I know we had posters saying final four and National Champs but no one really honestly thought that possible with our roster. Pope far exceeded in his job this season. Thank You Coach Pope!
