What is the order of your hated rivals list?

This one is easy for me. I'm ranking, based on teams that I hate (there are some great rivalries that we have where I respect the other team; in this case, I hate these teams and have little to no respect for them or their fanbase):

Basketball:

1) UL (dirtiest athletic dept in the country with a detestable fanbase, coach, and AD)
2) Duke (media myth perpetuating the idea that they are clean and wholesome)
(big gap between 2 and 3)
3) Indiana (terrible fans)
4) North Carolina (I actually respect their tradition and probably UK's one equal rival; recent scandal nullifies their perceived superiority in the moral and academic departments, respectively)

Football:

1) UL (dirtiest athletic dept in the country with a detestable fanbase, football coach, and AD)
2) Ohio State (Urban Meyer is a smug ass, and their fanbase absolutely sucks)
3) Florida (I want to beat them in the worst way)
4) UT (should be our best all-sports rival, but we have not held up our end of the bargain in the last 30 years)

5. Duke and Louisville .. .really neither bother me much, dukes more of a threat but coach K is almost gone.

1) UofL - They are the worst, everything about them is trashy.
2) UT - If they were more relevant, they might be #1 for me. Living in Knoxville makes it easy to hate them.
3) IU - Their desperation to be relevant is obnoxious.

I don't hate UNC and KU all that much, I have a little more respect for them (I don't really care about the UNC scandal)

I hate Duke, but it isn't relative to UK. I don't consider us rivals, but who doesn't hate Duke.

2. IU. See Uavel, even though they're not close to being on our level.
3. UCONN. We owe them a serious beatdown in a big game.
4. Tenn. We own them, so it's more pure regional hatred.
5. Michigan State. Beating Izzo and their smug fans....love to draw them in the ncaa (if they make it).

Strangely, I don't have much hatred for Duke, UNC, or Florida. Coach K is usually a gracious winner/loser, and same for Williams and Donovan. Actually, Vandy might be #6 on my list because of Stallings.

2. Will never get past how crappy we have been treated by IU fans, so they're #2
3. Florida- I lived down there for a few years and their fans are horrible. Horrible. You'd never know unless you were up close with them. Definition of "Florida cracker."
4. UConn- for reasons already stated. They've had our number and we need to turn that head-to-head around.
5. UNC, just because they have always acted above it all. Now they're clearly the cheaters.

I don't really understand the Kansas hate. Just because they are in the running for winningest team? I don't like them winning and I like beating them, but it's not a burning feeling like needing to beat Duke or UL.

For all of the people posting Duke, please explain to me how they are a rival. I think for someone to be a rival, there has to be a mutual feeling of such. Duke or their fans do not, in any way, see us as a rival. We very rarely play them. They're in a completely different conference. How are they a rival of ours at all? Let alone someone peoples absolute number one rival in their eyes?

Not trying to bash peoples opinions here, just really don't understand this.
