I’m for that. Should have been, with lsu, Arizona. Louisville....ok. Different thread sorry.

N.Kentucky won their conference tournament, not the regular season

I personally think a version of that is how it should be. Play a round robin in conference. Play a handful of OOC games for rating/rivalries and a few money games for the small schools as warmups.

And then the top 4 teams from each major conference and 2 from the next tier and 1 from the lower tier get in the tournament (adjust to make the numbers work)

Gives the regular season more meaning and you don’t have an inflated conference get 10 in like the old Big East or Big 10 this year.
