What Happens If...

Obviously, not many of us, if any, will have the answer to this question, but I wanted to get your thoughts.

Say this class ends with a whimper, I mean no Brown and no Murray; where do we go to get legitimate practice bodies? I don't think anyone can feel comfortable with 9 scholarship guys, although Duke won it with that number last year.

I feel like the Kirk kid or someone of that nature would've been the type to come in and fill that role, but I believe we were simply too late. Are there other guys out there in the grad role, JUCO ranks, or unsigned HS guys?

I just can't believe any coach would feel good about not having enough suitable bodies for practice.

Last i looked, we were preseason top 5 for next year and tied for tops to win it all next year...geez

You have to be really lucky with no injuries, and have a very agreeable path to the finals.

I am not arguing about our current talent level or our ability to be good, I'm just asking from a practice perspective.

I coach football, and while very different, it is always worry of mine to not be able to effectively practice. Imagine going half-line every day or not being able to play 7 on 7.

There are only so many options to 'fill out' a roster and I was just wondering what, if any, options there may be left.

I agree. Maybe after one big injury each of the last two years the third time's the charm.
