Pretty sure that this time last year Emmit Smith out of Bowling Green was ranked as a 4 star kid...he is now a 2 star. Rivals shows his weight at 262...wonder if he has eaten his way down the rankings?
My guess is he probably plateaued early. I know he wasn't in the speed range the staff was wanting but I had a feeling he would drop when he didn't get any new offers over the summer.
I've read where he doesn't have the lateral quickness to be a high level D-1 LB. Joker would have recruited him, but Stoops is recruiting at a much higher level.
