Can't believe you all want to get rid of Stoops, Marrow and the rest of the staff and think Barnhart is going to find a Kirby Smart out there.
7 PM interview which is 3.5 hours following the conclusion of our game seems a little far fetched. He had after game team and press duties, not like he can head straight to bowman field for the one hour flight down there.
They may interview stoops tonight or some other time but he will be well down their wishlist. They offer stoops they struck out on all their top options.
I saw one poster on their forum say basically stoops doesn’t fell appreciated here and is selling A&M on the fact that he turned around our programBounce over to their board and take a look. They are crapping their pants at the thought of hiring Stoops.

Geez....Matt Jones is not a legit media anymore....he's a mouthpiece for UK coaches. This is pure baloney .....and I think it's greedy and wrong to mis-lead people like this.

Yeah if this is the A&M test run leak to see how it would go over it’s not going well. It’s lots of ‘accepting mediocrity’ and people putting out crying gifs etc. earlier today after thamel reported one of their official type sites like this had an article saying he’s the fall back and would essentially be a trade off for what they just had sort of like ‘don’t take his mention too seriously’ kind of thingBounce over to their board and take a look. If he leaves it’s not because of fans. He would’ve left already if he could’ve gotten a job that is a clear step up in some way.

Yep. He no doubt has heard some fan discontent start. If he follows in Brother Bobs early retirement footsteps he may see this as a win win. Leave UK on a high note…..take a 5 year shot at AM to see if you can break through tk a playoff and if not then retire before getting fired
Anyone would leave for a clear step up. However, he may not have aggressively pursued a position if he was happy here. You rejects just can’t help yourselves but be losers and ruin a good thing.

I hope not. I’m grateful for what he’s done here, but at this point we’re already paying him top 10 money and giving him a seat that’s completely safe as long as he makes a bowl game of any sort, which is an insanely low expectation relative to other jobs that pay that type of money. If he still feels he has a better offer than that on the table, it may be time to let him walk.
While I appreciate everything he’s done for the program, I honestly don’t care if he stays or goes.

I’m very thankful to Stoops for owning Louisville. But this feels like a ploy from him and Matt Jones to build excitement. Disappointing season but we beat Louisville and we “keep” Stoops away from A&M? Look at our momentum!

He isnt gonna win bigger there. He has to play alabama, uga, Oklahoma, Texas, lsu, etc.

He’s also got the biggest NIL and talent pool and best recruiter in the country. If you weren’t a complete moron you would realize that winning at A&M is not like winning at UK.
