Matt Jones attention whoring, per usual.
He is worse than a girl in middle school. He lives to gossip and stir controversy. I tuned him out long ago.
I think there be more truth to the A&M stuff than originally thought
Heard he flew to Texas for a 7pm interview tonight. Would be more than highly surprised if they actually hired him though. I think it's all hype covering for him. Rinse and repeat same bull crap every few years.

Obviously has to be about the Texas A&M rumblings. The original report/rumor basically implied that Texas A&M was looking to hire a coach within the next 24 hours, let that be Day, Stoops, Dabo, etc.
I know people want to shit on Matt Jones/KSR, but he just had Stoops and Marrow on the post-game show and was hesitant enough to not ask about the rumor.
That plus the tweet has to mean there's at least some Kentucky people out there that've told him that there's a legitimate chance Texas A&M makes an offer for Stoops and he listens to it, or else he would have just outright asked to shut everyone up and would be saying it's an obvious made up rumor by Louisville fans trying to cause drama pre-game.
I mean what gets more attention hours after one of the most important wins for Kentucky under Stoops? Vague tweeting about news tomorrow? Or literally having the coaching staff post-game on a call and get them to deny rumors that would instantly make fans go wild and get tons of "Stoops declines A&M job" national attention?

He ain't getting hired by tamu....Stoops agent pulls this sh*t every few years to get a raise. Did it with LSU a couple years ago. Jones gets kickbacks of some sort and is in on it too.
I did hear this rumor from a friend of someone close to the program and they swore up and down... that being said I can't prove it and not sure I believe it myself.

Some people on Twitter are acting like it’s a done deal lol, I think they are just overreacting
I just saw some account on Twitter, it’s a fan account but they have been correct on news before and they are acting like it’s a done deal. I can’t see A&M being stoops without going for a homerun hire first
It is absurd to me too I mean of all of their supposed candidates he’s the most like the one they just ditched. But I will say that often the guy that starts getting this first swirl of attention ends up being a misdirection while they’re really working someone else.

TAMU has made some stupid moves in the past. They hired Jimbo after all. Reports say they have set a hard date of DEC 4th. So they might be in a hurry.
The one thing that is missed in the money/pressure/contact thinking is that Texas is a hell of a lot closer to where his two kids live than Kentucky is. I don't know anything about their relationship but that could factor into things.
