It’s 16 teams. Why the byes and double byes. Just seed 1-16 and all teams have to play four to win it. Let the higher seeds play on day one so they get a day two rest to award them if they win. It’s still a five day tourney and the same number of games played.

Only want to be set in one arena. Dont want two games going on at the same time. Its 1 am. Can only fit 4 games in one day.

I think that would be fun but it might hurt the SEC come NCAA tournament time if the best teams just played 3-4 games straight

No offense, but this is dumb

You wouldn’t have that. You’d have the exact same number of games each day. Winners on day one get a day off on day two. That’s why you play the top four seeds on Wednesday to reward them under the assumption they win.

All conferences do this.
