Well, QB still seems like a work in process

OL is complete garbage, so that doesn't help much.

WRs rarely create separation.

But, the INT in the end zone was a horrible read by Boley. Threw skinny post into coverage when a receiver was open in the back left corner of EZ.

Why do our QBs fail to see the field?

Boley may still develop into a pretty good QB, but I have no confidence this staff is capable of developing anything more than hemorrhoids from the repeated boning we get from opponents.

All systems fail. I’m so disappointed this is where we are. Last year UL was better than they are now and maybe had the better squad but we beat them because we wanted it more and just kicked their ass. We aren’t even fighting today

I just wonder if they got in his ear this week and put in his head:

“Don’t do anything stupid”

“We just need you to manage the game”

You know, stuff to shake Cutter’s confidence.

I think Wimsatt woulda been our best chance this year. Turns it over a lot but given a whole season I think he would have still had the best performance.

lol based on what? The 3 good passes he had all season?
I think his arm talent, speed of reads, and mobility given first team reps all season and not being subbed in with everyone knowing he was going to run would have in the end given us the best QB performance.

Edit: it also wouldn’t have taken much to out perform BVG.

A lot of things went wrong offensively this year:
1. OL did not improve over last year's abysmal performance
2. OC did not modify his system to fit his player's skills, rotated QBs for no discernable reason, was awful about in-game adjustments, lacked schemes to score TDs in the red zone
3. Lacked a bigger RB to pick up 2-3 yards when we needed it most
4. OL penalties that killed drives and nullified multiple big plays
5. No identity ever established by the offense; many games I couldn't figure out what Hamdan was trying to do as we'd run 5 straight plays, then throw 5 straight plays, then run jet sweeps and throw to the flat, then run in the A gap, etc. Just a seemingly random selection of plays all year long.
