Welcome back Butler

We look so much better with Mr Butler on floor on both ends of the floor.

Also kudos to our guards today, Brea, Jr, Butler , Oweh and why not , Noah for the offensive reads . No look passes, cuts, passes on dunking spots, offensively they look nice. Defensively also they played good.
Having Butler back is parimount but it can't be lost upon the play of Brea. He looked like a completely different player in a very physical game yesterday. If he can continue to defend the way he did yesterday we're gonna be in good shape.

No w question. He’s not yet back to his old self on the offensive end but his presence on the defensive side makes all the difference in the world.

Not only is he able to put ball pressure on their main ball handler but the other guys seeing him do that makes them pick their D up as well. They see him turn the ball handler around and they get in passing lanes e etc expecting something may happen. Works of difference!!

At the start of the season, preseason, I wanted to see Amari, the big guy. I'll admit. That shotgun lineup Pope conjured was staggering to get into the depth of looking at how the pieces *could* fit together and be great. But watching them on the court together, keeping an open mind to what I was seeing, I could easily see this is a three headed wildcat team led by Amari (the big guy!! gee! go figure!) Butler and Oweh.

I've since learned they really ALL are leaders on a team full of leaders. They easily and wholeheartedly earned my respect quickly with the effort I see them put forth wearing Kentucky jerseys. The starters, Brea, Garrison, Almonor, ALL of them, they all have had moments.... and the collective results are hard earned, and I can't ask anything more of a team in such circumstances as this. I am proud of them and to be a Kentucky fan that supports them all.

And this is season #50 following Kentucky - for me.

I am happy and thrilled for the future, want them healthy as they can get thru this brutal season, especially my man Butler. He is the straw that stirs this drink. Him and Oweh both are our wildcats equivalent for a bulldog that's emerged as my most favorite.

Almonor is soooo smooooth I love him. And he makes his presence known. Jax is the lethal glue that sticks. Brea all around coming off the bench ? He is the 6th man of the year. Garrison coming along like he has been is great.... We are so lucky to have him. Is there any way I can get Oweh and Garrison back next year, please? Come back guys! as many of you that can! Just saying that already !

I want to say positive things for them all because they got a long list of assignments and tape to go over and preparation to make. In short, they good. we good. Carry on wildcats.God Bless them all.

Let's study hard and beat Tennessee for the home folk Tuesday !

Amen !
