Florida looks bad and Mertz looks like the QB I was afraid we were going to end up with.

I was about to mention this. I'm glad we got Leary instead.

Mertz can really stand in there and take a sack.

I’m glad we avoided Mertz, but in his partial defense the Gators OL is pretty putrid.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a penalty for having two guys with the same number on the field at the same time before, and the Utes just made them pay.

How the &5$# does this happen? How many players dressed for the (road) game? It's hard to believe Florida could not assign a unique number to each player.

Agreed. It's all on the O too. We need to score points and not let inferior teams hang around and then lose late on a fluke play. Just score the damn td and put your boot on their throat. If this team can do that the first half of the season is freaking awesome.

Florida wr are ZERO threat downfield. Mercy. It is jarring how unathletic and slow their recievers are. Defend them like Utah, 8 in the box, don't respect the outside just worry about the backs & tes.
