Best possible start time for us. A 7 PM start means their fans would have been juiced up and our kids would have to wait all day for the game. Now we get them at 11 AM their time with a stadium full of fans still waking up.

If they're any NASCAR fans in their group,, they'll be juiced by 11.. Hell they'll be juiced by 9,, lol.. Been to my share of races and daylight meant 2 things at races.. Breakfast and the signal to commence drinking..

It's a party school in a college town with great tailgating and a game vs a ranked opponent, that crowd will be blitzed by game time lol. The entire student body will be up by 7 am drinking

I remember Jared Lorenzen saying multiple times that the best start time for a road game was 12(11CST). He said the team just had to wake up and warmup then play the game. No waiting all day in a hotel room.

I disagree.. Maybe for regular people and certain places but my point was if you like to party,, especially big events,, you'll be drunk by 11.. Or you just need to quit drinking.. They party like a mofo in Mississippi.. Met A LOT of people from Mississippi the times I went to Talladega.. About 20 of our 50 group were from there.. They were usually drunk by time I got up at 7 to start drinking,, lol..

I hope that’s what it turns out to be, would have been cool to see Kentucky get another primetime game

Oh, I agree with you on the partying for the fans. I was talking about what was the best time for the team to play the game. The early start takes away a lot of the advantages for the home team.

I hate it for our fans that wanted to get the full day’s experience of The Grove, but anything that helps us WIN, outweighs everything else for me!!
