Praying the thing dissipates.Yeah one of the guys who post on our board works in the weather field said it was shaping up to be a pretty big storm. But as of last night they weren't ready to predict where it would hit land. Could be anywhere from Texas to Florida. Mississippi has been hit pretty hard in the last few years.
That's a great idea.Oh noo sounds like it needs to be moved to Lexington.
Man, no luck would be better so far than the luck those of us who have planned to go are getting..Yeah one of the guys who post on our board works in the weather field said it was shaping up to be a pretty big storm. Supposedly a new hurricane will be forming in the Gulf over the next few days and it could be significant.Man, no luck would be better so far than the luck those of us who have planned to go are getting..
I m praying Fiona (toward Canada) can lessen over the next couple of days but what is scheduled to hit in that area (Mississippi) next weekend?

We are built to play in hurricanes!! Ask Coach he will tell ya.As long as there is no lightning not sure why you can’t play football in a hurricane. Although we wouldn’t want to mess up the grass. Beautiful natural grass it is, makes ours look high school-ish.
If the current path holds, and they never do, it's going just east of Oxford. Oxford may not even get any rain from it but if the projections hold it will be close.Hurricane projection strong Cat 3 Cat 4 possible next weekend.
We have been murdered with hurricanes in Louisiana and there is nothing worse on earth than those damn things 😡Yeah one of the guys who post on our board works in the weather field said it was shaping up to be a pretty big storm. Never been in one i take it.As long as there is no lightning not sure why you can’t play football in a hurricane. Although we wouldn’t want to mess up the grass. Beautiful natural grass it is, makes ours look high school-ish.
Possibly but now the models have it cutting across central Florida and going out to the Atlantic. Crazy. We have an entire week before it gets here. No telling where it will end up at this point.Oxford is so far from Gulf that it won’t be worse than heavy rain and mild wind there.

How's next Saturday look?Oxford is so far from Gulf that it won’t be worse than heavy rain and mild wind there.
11am start including Force 3 wind and rain. Ouch.Hurricane projection strong Cat 3 Cat 4 possible next weekend.
Yep, they can predict it pretty good but not always. One of the most complex systems humans try to understand, weather.
Blessed to have never experienced a hurricane and hoping this thing misses any land masses.

Looked it up, last time Tampa took a direct hit from a hurricane was 1921.You guys sure have, hate for yall. The poster on UGA's board thinks this one is going to hit much farther east than you. On the gulf coast of Florida. He said the feeling is it his land between Tampa and Panama. That's just a calculated guess as you know these things can turn at any time. So if that is correct hopefully you guys come out ok on this one.
Exactly. Try running into a 120 mph wind much less trying to throw in one. It is best the hurricane stay in my yard, we know how to handle them.Never been in one i take it.
