We will see our name called Saturday for the top 16 reveal for sure now

I think when the top 16 seeding is announced Saturday we'll be around 12-13. Our current NET is 15 but a look at our Q1 record will improve us to a high 3 low 4 seed.

Four teams ranked higher than us lost last night so that should help.

Spot on, IMO. We should be right on the 3-4 line. If they value "who have you beaten" we're a 3. If you value "But the metrics say they're not that good" we're a 4.

My thoughts, we are in the running for a national title..........IF we have healthy team. No injuries to hold us back...And the committee probably takes injuries into account with seeding.

If we can get by until the tourney, I'd make sure we got several point guard ready for the tourney.

It's crap to watch lamont last night hurt his elbow/shoulder.........He's got a lot of fight in him.

Basically, we need a complete team to do well in the tourney.

It’s head scratching that this team will win a game like tonight then throw in a stinker against a team like Texas.

We need to not do that.

A good ole fashioned ass whoopin Sat night would be a good sign.
On that note, I saw where Brent Douglas, the voice of Roy D Mercer passed away this week.

We can get a 2 if we win out. But a 3 is probably our "realistic" ceiling.
We are a 1 seed if we win out, including the SEC tournament. We would have like 15-16 quad wins in that scenario.

We can get in the convo for a 2 by getting up to 11 or 12 wins in SEC play.

One if not more of these teams in the ncaa tournament bracket.
1. The Cods 2. the Jonnies 3. the blew devils 4. the vol.s.

If we beat Auburn, that pretty much locks up the most impressive record in big games for the season. We already have 7 top 15 wins with 5 being the closest behind us held by Auburn and somebody else. Just imagine if we had no major injuries all season, how good we could be.

I wasn't including the SEC tourney. There's been years where us winning it didn't even help us.

Win or lose that final game, if we were to win out but the final, we would be looking at 2x wins against the likes of Auburn, Bama, UT, and/or UF. That’s up to 6 wins against the current top 3 in the AP pool. Our other metrics would adjust accordingly.

That’s rather unrealistic. Much more is getting up to 10 wins in the conference. I think we can get a 3 in that scenario.

It sure doesn't. I think seeds will be locked n prior to it for teams locked into tourney.

Too much work to move teams around with so many sec teams n ncaa tourney. Committee is lazy.
