The NCAA committee releases their top 16 on Saturday at 12:30 PM ET and we will 100% now be in the top 16. I wonder if we have a shot at a 3 seed considering we now have 7 QUAD 1A wins not just quad 1 wins but quad 1 A which are the best kind of wins you can get.

We have 8 total quad 1 wins but to have 7 quad 1A I believe only Auburn has more.

The fact we have 7 losses hurts our chances to get that 3 seed but the high quality wins could over ride that.

Take care of business against Vandy.

We are then 8-5 on in the conference with 5 games to play. We have LSU at home, high win percent. And then find 1 win against Oklahoma, Bama, Auburn, and Missouri. That would give us 10 conference wins and in position for a 3. Getting to 11 or 12 would get us 2 seed consideration. Winning out puts us on the 1 line lol

Kentucky now has an absolute LOCK on an NCAA tournament berth for an at large bid. By their own standards, the wins against Quad 1 or 1A or however you slice it. Whatever.

Beat Wright State to begin the year and Coach Pope's first win. Beat Bucknell for Kentucky win #2,400, first to 2,400 total wins ! ( maintaining all time lead over pre season number one Kansas) Lost to Clemson a VERY GOOD Clemson team.

Alabama won and they are great again this year, no shock there. Lost a hard game to Ohio State earlier as well as tough SEC road games like Ole Miss and Georgia. Lost the bitter game against Arkansas playing like it was Cal's swan song. All those teams look like NCAA tournament teams - except ARKANSAS ?!?!?!? OK, Maybe OSU is on that bubble, if not pffffft . Beat Louisville. Beat dUKe. HA. Beat Gonzaga. Nice. Beating a great Florida team in the best game of the year. Beating Mississippi State at the Hump ! Beating a VERY GOOD Texas A&M team, another big win. Taking it on the chin like old days in miserable gym to a revamped and dangerous Vandy team. But we swept the Vols this year.
