Can we avoid the same type of collapse? We ended up only being able to play well at home with the games we had remaining.

17-6 but to be fair we were on our way to 17-7 if he went down or not. Now would be have finished out 4-4? Probably not. We could have went 6-2 probably and made the tourney as an 8-9 seed.

The next 6 games are still winnable for this team. But they have to get it done on the road. I thought Arkansas would be an easy win, but they took down Vandy tonight.

Vandy and UK are possibly the two most disappointing teams in the nation. I think everyone thought it would be Vandy and UK at 1 and 2 in the SEC with Texas A&M and LSU battling for 3rd.

It feels like that season. An injury away from a total collapse. But I would say 75% of teams are like that. Take Hield away from Oklahoma. They don't make the tournament

I really think we avoid that but it is on the table to be sure, hopefully no injuries but I can see Cal losing this team.

skals not going to play enough to get injured and if he did it would t have the negative effect that Noel had but I agree we could lose Ulis and we are back in 2013

I guess when we lose to a horrible NIT team in Memorial again, we can always hang our hats on these wins. Ugh.
Well we didn't lose at Memorial.....

This team isn't going to the NIT. Now Cal does have his work cut out, but we'll go 21-10 at least, maybe 22-9 or 23-8. Any of those records gets us in with OOC wins over Duke and Louisville. The only quality win 2013 really was the last game of the season against Florida at home. And we followed that up with a stinker in the SECT.

I wouldn't waste my money on the SECT this year if I were you guys though....I already wasted some buying tickets to the Louisville regional.

We could easily be 17-7 going into the South Carolina game. I truly don't see us winning any games on the road anytime soon. Four of our final seven games would be at SC, at A&M, at Vandy, at Florida. Anybody think we win any of those?

The best chance for road wins is this stretch right now - Bama, Auburn, Arkansas. Trouble is, this team hasn't learned what it takes to win on the road, and I don't see it happening in the next couple of weeks. Don't win at least two of those games, and we are staring 10-11 losses heading into the SECT. Not sure even Duke and UL wins would be enough to get a SEC team with double-digit losses in.

Well its good that the road games are against terrible teams. We should beat them all, but won't. But we certainly won't lose to them all.

Is Saturday soon? We'll win in Tuscaloosa.

We are capable of losing to any team in the sec. I wouldn't guarentee a win in any of them. Many on here were not thinking we would lose by 20 to LSU either.
It's mostly about match ups and tonight was a bad match up for us, thought Cal concentrated too much on Simmons instead the rest of the LSU squad.
Rupp was the opposite, didn't care if one player went off as he wasn't going to beat you but stop the rest of the team. That's how we played LSU when they had pistol Pete.
