Or at least that is what the Hogg fans are telling themselves. This is the biggest load of crap since Lil Bro fans said attendance was off because of a Jewish Holiday.

Enjoy a laugh.

The SEC has been scheduling games on Wednesdays for 25 years. The only way around it is usually a Tuesday or Thursday night (more rare), and the scheduling only allows a few of those and it's usually about an ESPN time slot more than anything else. The last 10 years, you can pretty much guarantee you're gonna have at least 7-8 Wednesday night games in the SEC. That's how they schedule it. I'll be honest, I prefer those Tuesday night games to the Wednesday night games because I am on a church staff and have youth Bible studies and choir practices on Wednesdays from 6 to 8pm every week. But they don't schedule around me at UK or in the SEC office, and they don't do that for Arkansas home games, either.

I am a goddess heathen. Admitted. Proud.
I love Goddesses.

Thats interesting, I've seen their arena packed on Wednesday nights before. just in the last few years of Muss (before they went to ish last season)
And they never had this problem during the Nolan Richardson era either. Weird.

Hmm … I guess Arkansans just very recently found God about the same time Cal was hired. And now they’re so dang devout that they’re the only state to have this excuse.

That’s ridiculous lol. I have Wednesday services at my church. They don’t go because they haven’t played anyone and they look terrible so far.

Yeah the Arky (and for some damn reason UCONN) fans have been really mouthy this week.

Yeah but NIL...right? I thought that was the important thing.

Taking a different angle: if your fanbase is largely choosing Wednesday night mass over basketball, then maybe your program isn't very good.

I'm not trying to down play the religious types.. but come on. People aren't passing on the Yankees, Celtics, Lakers to go to Wednesday mass lol. And not UK either.

As far as the article- using that term loosely- clearly all those Hog ticket holders were in church instead of at the games. And in other fictional news, I will be crowned the King of England next week.
