Cats looked great today. Allen’s three’s in the first half got them going. We sure could have used him in those first 7 games. I’m concerned still about how many conference games we will have to win to make the tournament given our non conference record.
So I’m not, nor have I ever advocated a mid season firing of Cal, I do think that at the end of the season, he and Mitch need to have a talk about how this season went. My biggest hope is that the talk is about how it started so bad and ended so great.

I am ELATED that we won and looked pretty good doing it, but we still have a LONG way to go if we want to even get into the tournament, much less make a Final 4. If the NCAA decides to cancel all of the conference tournaments, it will make it that much harder.

Most ‘fans’ on here want what UF is, perimeter shooting team which is currently in vogue. Of course, ‘old school’ Cal beat that new school team like a rented mule. Those ’fans’ should close their accounts and never come back but they won’t because they have no morals.
But no one can deny that Cal’s stubbornness probably cost a few wins early in the year. 6-4 or 7-3 would be so much better than 4-6. But they are playing better now after Allen and Brooks are in the rotation.
Yeah he has a bad habit of that and some times in critical games. We looked pretty damn good the whole game until the last 6 minutes. We could have drove the lane and dish for countless lobs but they were coached to pull it back out. That's Cal and what he does, which is fine, but make sure you're up ENOUGH for them not to come back.

I dont mind the bait. This win is great but it doesn't change my primary issue with Cal. These super young teams wilt under the pressure as we get closer and closer to winning the championship. We should always win a lot of games with Cal's system we just won't win the prize. Still, these kids needed this big win and they earned it, well done Cal and team.

Many of us have said Cal needs to change his system, radically change it, or he needs to go. Most have said now isn't the time but it all depends on when you want a real chance at a title again.
