I don't know why every team doesn't just play zone on underneath OOD plays. As you said, should be standard.

Not really. All five of our guys lost their man on that play and didnt know what to do so they just stood there . It was effective though.

We ran a 2-3 zone twice that I saw. Both were on inbounds plays. One in each half. I'm a big Cal critic, but I'm willing to recognize change when I see it.

We didn't give up one basket on inbounds plays last night while playing zone, we just matched up out of the zone back to man after the ball was inbounded and it worked to prefection so far. Could Cal be turning the corner as far as defense is concerned and after seeing this success lead him into mixing in some zone with our man defense and some full court pressing.

You would think, it’s because of AAU, that shit happens all the time in games and nobody cares. They just inbound the ball and get a layup easily half the time.
