I think that's why the offense was so flat early on, guys were locked in on D. They need a few games of that type of effort to stick and then it should become more routine for them to display prowess on both sides of the ball.

I’d rather have play defense like today because we are usually so efficient we can always score enough especially in a 70’s style game.

Today's defensive performance is further proof that a team does not need to be super athletic to be effective on that end of the floor.

Listen, nobody is going to confuse SCAR as an offensive juggernaut...but UK played with energy and intensity for most of the game defensively. If they give that type of effort every game defensively, no reason to think they couldn't make a good run in March.

The problem is why hasn't UK played with that type of effort defensively the majority of the year?
