Our frontcourt is almost none existant. We don't have a single consistant threat underneath. We play poor defense for a Cal team. I'm sure the emotional drain from KU didn't help, but we just played too poorly, mainly on defense.
A frontcourt player is going to have to step up so the defense can't sag and dare our guards to beat them from deep. I'm not worried about missing the tournament, not yet anyway, but I'm terribly disappointed in this team so far. This is a team struggle and that's the only way it will get fixed. I wish I were certain we had the pieces to make a very good team. Way too many mistakes this deep into the season.
