I just noticed this. I wonder why they have such a gap in their schedule. And do you think this benefits them or us?
We have four more games until we play Gonzaga. They only have one game between now and then.

Benefits us as long as we are healthy imo. Best to stay in rhythm and in a groove. More time to get a feel for each other as a team.
Conversely, that's LOTS of prep time for them to watch us and develop a game plan.
I'm not sure what the heck happened in that game they played against Baylor, but they haven't been as impressive since.
They are definitely blowing teams out, but they aren't top 10 teams like Baylor was and they absolutely ripped Baylor.
I know that final score is in the back of our minds, but that might be a case of Baylor just not showing up against a team that can really put it on ya if you aren't focused.

I get that. I just think that's overrated. Most coaches don't need that long to do that anyway.
I'm sure it will help them, just think us getting more reps as a team helps us more.
Zags have looked good, will be a challenge either way.
I think it helps us. Our football team always sucks after a week layoff. But then, they also suck when it's no layoff.
I think it helps both. We definitely need the game exp more than Gonzaga. But this gives Few a lot of extra time to prep for Pope. Should make for a pretty good game. Could come down to in-game coaching chess match. (And Few won't be as easily handled as Scheyer was)

The 27th they play WVU
THE 28th they face either IU or UofL
The 29th is just Battle for Atlantis
Then us on the 7th.
They do have more prep and down time.

As a golfer I can tell you……..this applies.
I read that BYU had a pretty bad road record last year. I’m anxious to see how we do in road games .
I wouldn't put too much stock into that.
The Big12 was tough last year. They were bound to lose a bunch of road games when they had to go on the road and face Baylor, Kansas, Iowa St etc.
2009-2010 won its first road game at IU. Not including them in Cals top 5 UK teams is a bit bizarre. I agree with the post otherwise.
This. That team should've been a FF team. But we went cold and WV couldn't miss from 3. Ugh pisses me off. And then in true post-UK loss fashion, WV got the brakes beat off them.
We're a tough team to prepare for so giving them like 2 weeks to prepare , yeah i doubt we win that game. I just hope we win the first true road game against Clemson.
