What an impenetrable remark. That single statement during Cal's Big Blue Madness speech has undeniably become the most astute observation from any college basketball program ever. You see "The Kentucky Effect" being implemented everywhere. You have an ACC coach's "ability to adapt" lauded by copying Cal's one-and-done methods, only to be prematurely hailed by the press as "the new Cal", and now another school is holding it's own "combine" for NBA scouts. What's next? Coaches platooning? Coaches wearing the same hair gel as Cal? Rival fans can argue it, skew it , deny it all you want . . . but you can't tell me I don't see what I see.
