I think that's kind of the thing. I can only go by what Matt Jones talked about, but when he considered a run, the establishment D's wanted no part of him and chose someone else (McGrath), thinking they knew what the state wanted. McConnell's people had Jones tailed with a tracker (person whose job it is to follow you) and a PI informed MJ that his past and his friends' pasts would be looked into. I don't know why anyone would want any part of politics, esp. in the digital age with texts/email trails.

This kind of crap isn't unique to a party (although this case is the Democratic turn). They all do it. When it comes to elections/re-elections and the $$ around holding any political office, the rules are made to be broken in an effort to just win at all costs, and both parties regularly engage in smear tactics.
Open records requests, regardless of your political affiliation, are a state law. My wife deals with them every single day and you either have to fulfill them within a certain timeframe or explain why the request isn’t valid.

Right now it’s not a 50/50 game. It saddens me more cannot see the overwhelming differences when you look at big pharm, big Biz, big tech, censorship, and the deterioration of values that is stemming in a large majority from one side. Don’t even get me started on the implementation of ID since 2008. It’s disgusting.
By the time 30% of the electorate wakes up, we will be looking at full democracy (which people who don’t have a political science background do not usually understand) and it will be the end of the republic as we know it.
It is my hope more people wake up to the attempt, but I doubt we do in time. The fact that half of America still believes it’s all of them and it’s all equally as bad tells me I’m right.

Like the current version of Republicans are any better? Please spare me your high horse. If it involves a politician from either party then we are talking about scum be he or she a democrat or republican. No politician in Frankfort or DC has my interest in mind. The sooner we quit blaming one party over the other, the sooner grass roots Americans of all colors and creeds, regardless of religious beliefs, can create a party that actually has this Country’s and American interest in mind.

Personally, I’ll take incompetence over sedition when voting and hold my nose while doing it. There’s actually a party that is actively supporting Herschel Walker for one of the 100+ most powerful government positions in the country. Let that sink in.
