I might take the field too.

Bama will certainly be in the mix with the level of talent they stockpile. But even with the Heisman winning QB they put themselves in a number of situations that nearly cost them the playoffs this year. They lost the A&M game (who should be formidable again next year), and was in a precarious position against LSU, and should have lost to Auburn. Bama got some fortuitous bounces in those games otherwise they would have been playing Baylor in the Sugar Bowl.

It’s a tough call. The fact it’s even a question shows how insane the Alabama machine is.

If we can get another proven corner and OT off the portal our main needs will be filled. Would like to see Wallace backup OLB and maybe Wade is ready to also play at that position. Another proven WR would be nice so we can go 3 deep at those positions.
