Watching Auburn and Bama.

Was that Jay Williams doing the announcing? Man, is he horrible!!!! He sounded like an idiot guy sitting in a bar yelling.

Yes it was. I thought they both did a shat job. Ravich kept getting the teams mixed up. Called Bama Auburn once, then later when Bama hit a three, he proclaimed: "there's a silencer!" as if they were the road team. Crowd cheered even louder, of course. Then you had Jay with his captain obvious schtick.

I only watched the last 4 minutes or so but yeah it was bad. I think it was Jay who went off about reviewing the foul on the 3. Then, when someone told him it wasn't reviewable, he rattled on and on about it not being a reviewable play and never once said that he was originally mistaken. He works too hard trying to sound like he has a clue when he doesn't have any idea what he is talking about.

Am I wrong to say both are way better coached than the Cats? Both play such tough gritty defense. For some reason our young men do not seem to even want to guard.
Guy on ESPN the other night said that TN and Auburn play the hardest night in night out. Guess those are the two coaches that demand it the most. I also think teams like that play their best players and don't worry about getting the bench so many minutes. They seem to have better continuity on the court. Being jerked in and out a lot has to be kind of hard on a player staying in the flow.

We play Pearl basketball this year...its what you all wanted.

And to your question, no...you all pick a flavor of the week every week. One week musselman is great, then nate oats. Hell if drunk ass Gillespie is still out there and you found some game, you'd claim he was awesome too if some random one off game they did something.

No one cares if someome criticizes cal, the problem is none of you have any credibility bc all you do is whine while not being able to name a single set, adjustment, etc while you find some new "why don't we do that" bandwagon every week

Bama sucks...why isn't pearl blowing them out? He also has Holloway a McDonald's all american...hows it close? I thought those were the rules?

Also Oats had one of the top recruiting classes last year including the best player...why didn't he win every game by 30 and win the title?

Do we play harder than unc? No? Then why did we beat them? I'm confused how you square all this?
Lmao what adjustments you talking about? Cal makes exactly zero defensive adjustments. They don’t play zone in the NBA. Don’t press either. By the way, Auburn has about 1/10 of the talent we have. How many 4/5 stars do we have? Basically our entire roster, with the majority being 5 star. Hell, some are top 5 and top 10 players in their class.

Welp...auburn loses another only scoring 58 points. Zero quad 1 wins

Guess pearl didnt coach em up, his McDonald'sall american only had 7 points. Time to put that flavor of the week back on the shelf.
