Especially nice, and I enjoyed this when it was live, was the post-game interview with Tyler and Jamal. Both well spoken and poised, but also with arms around each other and Jamal patting Tyler on the head a couple of times. If you want an affirmation once again of what Coach Cal and his staff are doing with this program and with these kids, that's it. It is a family. It is teamwork. They are brothers going into battle and they do have each other's backs.
For this group to operate unselfishly and as a finely tuned machine only three games into the season, that is quite an accomplishment. It was good to see so many nice contributions from our rotation of eight guys. By season's high point, I expect us to see nine or ten getting more minutes because of their play. Very proud of our guys for their play and their representation of our state and university. Sure will take the sting out of a cold Lexington winter.
