Was Mitch right?

I have seen one fight in all my years at Kroger Field. It was in the stands between a UK and Tennessee fan. I have been to Cardinal Stadium for numerous Governors Cups. I’ve only been one time that I Have Not seen a fight. That time we were in the Brown&Williamson Club seats. Class does matter. It just does. If you don’t think people with money behave better than people on welfare go to Thunder over Louisville. Guys without shirts weighing 250 would just stop n piss on the sidewalk while swaying back n forth. People who live in and out of jail do not behave as well as CEOs. It’s just fact.
no they just grab women by the p---y

Just like the saying…. You can’t buy happiness, but money sure helps. No, money doesn’t necessarily mean class, but it helps.
Not necessarily it mostly makes them more pompous

I can't recall ever seeing a fight at Commonwealth/Kroger field. Arguments on occasion..never any punches thrown. Saw 3 fights in the 1st quarter of a Raiders/Dolphin game bout 10 years ago. Never have understood the concept of fighting over sports...makes 0 sense.

A buddy of mine worked security at Chicago Bears games back in the late 80s. There were so many fights there it was unbelievable and it was rarely about the game. It was usually someone wanting a drunk to sit down or stop getting handsy/aggressive/rude with the ladies around them. Drunk don't think. He said the fight ended when the real security showed up. Off-duty Chicago police. They were big, bad, and brutal.

Nope. Patriots fan that saw a holding call against their offense for the first time in 20 years. It was bound to happen sooner or later. You just don't make that call after 2 decades. You just don't

Three fights out of 56,000 fans, pretty good statistics. Do I think people that have enough money to have a skybox would be less likely to fight well, I agree.
Hopefully, you’re not saying let them eat cake

People in skyboxes get in fights. You just don't hear about it in newspapers until something gets broken, if then. People that think there aren't fights involving people with money ... hilarious

That was in really bad taste . . . but I LOL'ed anyway.

There's ALWAYS harder Alcohol than beer in that Stadium and in the parking lot. Hell, I took in Vodka & 99 Minis in before.

There was always a mountain of empty mini bottles in the student section. Until very recently, my group always carried in as many as we could get away with.

People that want to drink were doing it all this time.

My only fight was in the second grade and the other kid started swinging at me first, I landed a lucky punch and bloodied his nose, fight over. I was so upset I was crying. I never saw another fight in the 12 years I went to my grade and high school.

I have been to thousands of football games, never saw a real fight. And never got in a fight, but maybe that is because I was officiating most of them. We did have one official that got punched, and the guy that punched him ended up getting sued, and having to pay him over 2000 dollars, and from what little I knew of the official he probably deserved getting punched. I did have one guy that wanted to fight me after reffing a flag football game, no idea what he was upset about. I told him if he punched me he would go to jail, he said he didn't care, he just got out of jail, I didn't have an answer to that, but he let it go. Probably the closest I ever was to getting in a fight as an adult.

My mom told me fighting was hard on clothes, but I really don't think I ever had to back down from anyone. I guess I have been extremely lucky.

So my mom was a huuuuge Cowboy fan and she came to Indy to watch a game.

Some drunk next to me kept running his mouth. I was laughing at him and his friend was trying to calm him down

My dad and I were discussing how long it was going to take and how bad he was going to get it. My dad was like “he is so drunk that he obviously has no idea who he is messing with”

Finally, all 55 yrs of so of the meanest woman east of the Miss River jumps over me and my dad and went off on this cat.

The ushers come running and she was going off.

She got mad at me and my dad for not taking up for her. My dad said “hey woman, he was drunk not crazy and besides, if you can’t beat up a chicken like him, I can’t help you. He may be slightly crazy, but he’s def not crazy enough to mess w you”

The guy swings at me, I duck and she locked those 3 inch finger nails into his face at the same time I hit him in the solar plex, dude was bent over trying to scream about her nails in his face and his friend was like ok ok we are going.

To whit, the police officer said “yes sir you are, straight to Marion County Lock Up”

I had no idea one had shown up

Yes.

But the main difference between the “rich” and the “common man” in football seating is personal space.

Sure, there are far fewer in the Club seating, and they seldom encounter lines or other cramped conditions, and hence have far fewer opportunities to be obnoxious or respond to another’s obnoxious behavior.

Go to a high school basketball game in my home county and if you get into a fight, they likely rode with you.

A football game: there are thousands there, with less personal space.

Turns out the guy had no head trauma from the punches thrown and had a medical emergency of some sort. I doubt there will be any charges. (Or would be surpised if there are - for multiple reasons).
