Ware commits to Villanova

It is very hard to win championships in college basketball now. Times have changed. We are not in the 1960's and 70's when a team like UCLA could dominate by cheating. UK has struggled for several years. I believe we may be heading in the right direction.

Duke, Villanova and UConn have won multiple championships since Cal has been at Kentucky and you can say they had less talent than Kentucky, though you can argue about Duke.

With our current situation it is weird that he didnt come back because he did seem to love it here . I thought the Camden boys alone would keep him so I was shocked he transferred .

Well said. All these Cal defenders pointing at supposed cheating (or "implicated") at other schools to try and explain why UK sucks right now.

UK doesn't suck. We've had a few down years. We have the #1 recruiting class. We have 2 very talented sophomores. We just need a few good role players and we will be in great shape.

Compared to 5 years ago, yeah we suck. Until he proves otherwise the program is in the dump with Cal. Until you've seen these new kids come in here and dominate, it's premature to say we just need a few good role players. We have 7 scholarships.

Personally, even with a short bench, I believe it’s best for all involved. Now, that said, if he balls out and puts up 15/10, Cal’s big arse needs to be keelhauled!

I don't know anything abou their roster, but Villanova is incredibly well respected across the nation. Even if he doesn't get crazy amounts of playing time, still a great decision by Lance

I absolutely loved the kid for his energy and toughness. Every team needs a Lance.
