Be honest: Who among you would've guessed that Eric Bledsoe would be statistically equivalent or superior to John Wall at this point in their NBA careers? Sure as hell, not me.

Season stats:
Bledsoe averages more points (21.9 to 19.6) and rebounds (4.2 to 4.0).
Wall averages more steals (2.4 to 2.0) and blocks (.8 to .5).
Bledsoe shoots better from the field (45.8 to 44.7) from three (38.1 to 31.7) and from the line (79.4 to 77.7).

Very surprising to me.

You kinda left out an important point guard stat, assists. Wall: 8.6 career, 10.0 apg last year. Bledsoe: 4.2 career, 6.4 last season.

PER has them as a pretty much equal player though. Bledsoe has done very very well for himself, that's for sure.

Bledsoe got his shhhhsh right

I wish during camp Cal, cousins AD, KaT would come in and give Skal some
Pointers and bang with him

Also have wall Bledsoe knight Teague come in and go against our guard lineup. Show them what they learned.

All these guys have got better at their position and skills. It's not just time in gym. They need to see it first hand

I know I'm dreaming but I think this group could be special if they figure things out. The talent and skills are there

Wall has led the Wizards to the playoffs two years in a row and won a couple of series. Regular season stats are nice but Eric will have to produce in the playoffs before he can even be in the same conversation as Wall.

I wouldn't say that is the deciding factor between the two. If you put them on opposite teams, Bledsoe would have done the same thing on a Washington team who has been in a weak eastern conference. I don't even think Wall could have led PHX to the playoffs in the western conference.

Oops, sorry about that. I knew Wall was leading, just forgot.

John is clearly the better player and has had better success from day one. But eric looks great this year and I'm just excited to watch him play as I am John. What we need to see from eric is a consistent season at this pace right now and string together a couple more with it. I love the Suns backcourt and I love seeing two of my favorite guys play well.
