JMHO, it wasn't that bad if it was two weeks ago. It was bad in the sense that he put the info out days after a total melt down and hours before what is by all accounts now the biggest game of our year to date.

On top of that they spent half of a segment talking about not being able to handle more drama (which I agree with)...and speculating if he misses another game and gets another text it just might be true.

I dunno, a combination of terrible timing and poor judgement. For one, all of the Instagram stuff was total BS apparently. If he would have talked to any of the writers for KSR he would have known that. It is just odd. I guess he is just totally removed from all of those people now that on3 owns everything but the show.

And Jedwar said Matt did not request it be taken down? I'm not calling Jed a liar, but that surprises the heck outta me. But, if you think about it, Matt got the mileage out of it that he wanted, so why request it's deletion?

Why anyone listens to anything KSR says in term of sources is comical. The head basketball coach hates the guy who runs KSR, the site gets no inside intel in basketball what so ever. The guys who cover football act like they have inside sources but nearly everything they predict to happen , not only doesn’t happen but typically occurs in a fashion they never predicted, then say “things changed”, which also pilgrim has used the “things changed” on multiple recruitments he has been wrong on in basketball.

The cult following of KSR is just weird. The fact that if you disagree with the host, and try to get your point across on radio he immediately talks over you so you can’t speak…..

And now you get more goofy talk of non sports and OVW updates than anything. The opinions of the folks on the show are no different than the opinions of any other UK fan.

Same here. I listen every day. But it is getting harder to with OVW, Draft Kings, Bar trivia nights etc. I don’t mind most of the off topic stuff though. My favorite was counties but they never finished.

Agree. I thought it was common knowledge he’s had an ankle issue for a while. It was stated it would swell up and go back down.

When Wagner does return, be it today or next week, I thoroughly believe that one of Shep, Reeves, or Mitchell will be out that same game. No reason to believe otherwise until there is a game where UK is at complete full strength.

Well, it was either calculated, for some unknown end game. Or, it was really, really irresponsible 'reporting'. No doubt Cal knows and I'd imagine Matt lost whatever good will Cal had left for him. Really stupid way to burn a bridge.

Pilgrim is saying the same thing... DJ won't play tonight. Sounds like Thiero will... and hopefully Edwards since he did pre-game media yesterday. Calipari said after FLA loss, he didn't expect to be full strength tonight.

Going to be tough to beat Tenn without DJ.. Solid on both ends of the floor. Gotta stop the Duke wanna-be, Knectch... Keep him under 20, we might have a chance. Tenn is so much older, and they like to bang and flip and flop (yes I see you Vescovi)..

With Wagner out I just don’t see Kentucky being able to overcome Tennessee. Also dillingham being on two straight games is a massive gamble in itself

We can win without Wagner but no one can have their worst game. Mitchell can’t have a game like he did the other day and the same goes for everyone else. If the players (and coaches) all do their job, we win at home
